Super Sport 600 World Championship

In 2010, Michele Pirro joined the most emblazoned team of the World Super Bike Championship, the Ten Kate Team. He is soon amoung the best, conquering his first podium in the second race on the circuit of Portugal at Portimao. Considered the emerging talent of Italian motorcycling he is always in the front row and sets a new track record at Misano for the Supersport class. This was the last acute before fall in the first race ahead of his fans that can not wait to celebrate the first victory in World Supersport. The weekend after, the nightmare begins after the fourth lap of the race in Brno, where he started from the first row but fell disastrously after he tried to avoid the rider ahead  him (Foret), fracturing his right wrist.

Forced to miss the race at Silverstone, he came back at Nurburgring, where despite the pain, ends the race in tenth position. The victory at Imola, the GP of Italy, after a small brackets in the Moto2 World Championship riding the Moriwaki of the Gresini team, gives to the three-times Italian champion what the fate had taken away, opening the doors to the Moto2 world championship for the 2011 season.
